Commercial tint removal is usually a steam-and-scrape job, not a quick “pull it off and wipe it clean” task. The film itself comes off, but the adhesive, edge residue, and risk of scratching the glass are what make the job slow and expensive.

For most commercial glass, steam is the safest starting point because it softens the adhesive without blasting the glass with dry heat. Heat guns can work, but they are easier to overdo and can create hot spots that make the job riskier.
